Hidden Message Collar Stays

These are a little out of the ordinary, but a really cute idea. My boyfriend had just gotten a big promotion at work where he'd be wearing business casual attire all the time. We got him a whole new wardrobe of slacks and dress shirts and I wanted to give him an extra little something special, but something traditional like cufflinks seemed a little boring (and frankly a little too old).

I came across these at Red Envelope. Collar stays are the things that go in mens dress shirts to keep the collar stiff/straight (dry cleaners usually put cheap plastic ones in). But these little collar stays had hidden messages in them. You could choose between PG ("you're so handsome" or "you make me laugh") or sexy ("that tie will be useful" "wait until dark") messages. Plus they come in a really nice little case.

My boyfriend says every time he puts them on, he thinks of me. If you've got a guy that wears dress shirts for work, I'd highly recommend these as a sweet nothing gift.
